The Life of HAROLD VERN ATKINS
Services for Harold V. Atkins, 67, of 3710 Franklin ave. who died of Alzheimer''s disease Monday at Veterans Administration Medical Center, will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Westover Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Atkins was born in Van Meter and he lived in Des Moines for 47 years. He was the retired owned of Forest Avenue Furniture Store. He was a member of Elks Lodge No 98 and St. John''s Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his wife, Edna; a duaghter, Carolyn Beatty of Waterloo; a brother, Nile of Panora; two sisters, Lucille Kistler of Perry and Joan Richardson of West Des Moines; and a grandson.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. today at the funeral home.
