The Life of HARLAN E SAMUELSON
Harlan Samuelson passed away March 13, 2006 at Marcy Hospital. A Christian service will be held at Hamilton''s Southtown Funeral Home on Saturday, March 18, 2006 at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
Harlan was born September 2, 1928 to Hildor and Eleanor Samuelson. He graduated from East High School in 1945. In 1991, Harlan retired from Drake University.
He is survived by nephew, Marlow Samuelson; niece, Kimberly (Jeffrey) Pocock of Des Moines; niece, Kathryn (Mark) Berry of Barre, Vermont; sister-in-law, Shirley and nine great-nephews and nieces. Harlan was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Vernon and Marlow; and his great-nephew Philip Berry.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association and the Greater Iowa Chapter.
