The Life of JOHN FREDERICK SANDIN
Services for John F. Sandin, 85, of Valley View Village, 2600 Avenue Frederick M. Hubbell, will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Dahlstrom Funeral Home, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Sandin died Sunday at his home of complications following surgery. He had been ill six weeks.
A native of Sweden, Mr. Sandin lived in Des Moines since 1909. He was a retired painting and decorating contractor and a member of the Buchanan Street Meeting Room.
Surviving are five sons, Norman or Ankeny, and Don, Roy, Harold and Marvin, all of Des Moines.
