The Life of ELDON PAUL SADDORIS SR.
Eldon Paul Saddoris Sr., 88, of the 2600 block of Boyd Street died of a respiratory ailment Saturday at Mercy Medical Center. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Saddoris was born in Osceola and had lived in the Des Moines area since 1926. He was a retired manager for the Iowa State Department of Health. He was a volunteer at the Christian Center and enjoyed nature.
He is survived by two sons, Eldon Jr. of Denver, CO, and Woodrow of Pleasant Hill; nine grandchldren; 15 great-grandchldren; and a great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol.
Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Assured Care Funeral Chapel in Ankeny. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Iowa. Neptune Cremation Society of Iowa is handling arrangements.
