The Life of BRENT EUGENE ADAMS

Brent Eugene Adams, 29, of the 3700 block of Southeast Eighth Street died Sunday at Iowa Methodist Medical Center from severe head injuries he suffered Friday in a work-related accident in Clive.  Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Mr. Adams was born in Creston and had lived in Bedford before coming to Des Moines in 1981.  He was an equipment operator for the city of Clive and a member of Westside Pentecostal Church.

He is survived by his wife, Evelyn; two daughters, Rachel and Lydia Adams, both of Des Moines; his father, Ron of Oakland; his mother, Janet Adams of Mesa, Ariz.; two sisters, Andrea Flanagan of Mesa and Shelby Adams of Oakland; his grandparents, Dorothy DeBord of Creston, Robert DeBord of Afton and Joan Adams of Arispe; and his great-grandmother, Ethel Ross of Mount Ayr.

The family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made to his church.
