The Life of LETHA M LETTINGTON
Letha M. Lettington, 72, of 1418 Royer St., died of cancer Friday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Lettington was born in Lovilia and had lived in Des Moines since 1946. She was a retired secretary with G.W. Onthank, World War II veteran of the Women''s Army Corps and a member of Union Park United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband, William; a son, Craig of Sterling, Va.; three daughters, Cathy Sharp of Cumming, Karen Teig of Cedar Rapids and Nancy DeSmidt of Rushville, Inc.; a brother, Roy Hook of Des Moines; and 10 grandchildren.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Iowa.
