The Life of ROBERT ERIC QUICK
Services for Robert E. Quick, 56, of 6735 NW Eighth Court, will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Saylorville Baptist Church. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Quick, a self-employed building contractor, died at Iowa Lutheran Hospital Saturday of a cerebral hemorrhage after an eight-month illness.
He was born in Des Moines and lived here most of his life. He was a graduate of Ankeny High Shcool. He attended the Saylorville Baptist Church, and was a Sunday School teacher there for many years.
Surviving are his wife, Velda; two sons, Robert, Jr. of Horseheads, NY, and Russell of Des Moines; a niece whom he reared, Mrs. Nancy Jacobs of Johnson City, NY; his mother, Mrs. Anna Quick of Des Moines; five brothers, Harold of Ankeny, Ray and Harvey of Des Moines, Richard of Slater and Arvid of Altoona; four sisters, Mrs. Lillie Rittgers of Des Moines, Mrs. Ellen Ober of Ankeny, Anna Quick of Chillicothe, IL, and Mrs. Ruth Bathol of Perry, and three grandchildren.
