The Life of WILLIAM P MCDONOUGH
William P. McDonough, 57, of 3620 Fifty-third St. died of pulmonary fibrosis Sunday at Iowa Methodist Medical Center. Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Grandview Funeral Home. The burial location has not been determined.
Born in Des Moines, Mr. McDonough lived here all of his life and was a retired landscaper. He was a World War II Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Jean; a son, Shon of Madelia, MN; two daughters, Kathleen McDonough and Mary Ann Crandall, both of Des Moines; three brothers, Mike, Joe and Bernard, all of Des Moines; a half-brother, Richard Middaugh of Oakland, CA; a sister, Mary Walker of Huntington, WV; and four grandchildren.
