The Life of CYNTHIA DRUCILLA FISHER
Cynthia D. Fisher, 68, of Panora died of cancer Friday at Mercy Hospice - Johnston. Services will be at noon Tuesday at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home in Des Moines, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery here.
Mrs. Fisher was born in Des Moines and had lived in West Des Moines before moving to Panora 15 years ago. She was a retired operator with US West and enjoyed dancing.
She is survived by her husband, George; a son, Matthew of Ankeny; two daughters, Cindy Stringer and Shelley Alexander, both of Des Moines; and six grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Mercy Hospice - Johnston.
