The Life of EDGAR BRUCE BELL
Edgar Bell, 82, died Friday, January 30, 2004 at Kavanagh House on Grand. Services will be 12 p.m. Monday, February 2, at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Edgar was born Feburary 13, 1921 in Reasoner, IA and moved to Des Moines over 30 years ago. He retired in 2001 as a Truck Driver for Warren Transport and Johnsrud trucking. He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of First Baptist Church in Johnston. Edgar liked to watch car racing on TV.
He is survived by his wife, Florence Irene Bell of Urbandale; daughter, Sandra Wilson of Spokane, WA; son, Larry Bell of Madison, FL; five grandchildren; brother, Max Bell of Madrid; stepbrother, Robert Thompson of Gilman; and stepsister, Ann Schuele of Maryville, TN.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Monday at Hamilton''s near Highland Memory Gardens. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church in Johnston.
