The Life of CLARICE MARGARET REES
Clarice M. (Peggy) Rees, 87, of Des Moines died Friday, September 29, 2006 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, October 3, at Staves United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until service time at the church.
Clarice was born October 15, 1918 in Roberts, Wisconsin to Lloyd G and Bertha Marty. She married Lloyd G Rees on December 23, 1938 in Davenport, Iowa.
Clarice was a homemaker for most of her life and had a reputation of being a wonderful cook.
She is survived by her loving husband, Lloyd of Des Moines; one son, Kent Alan Rees of Emily, Minnesota; three grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Staves United Methodist Church.
