The Life of EULA JEANNE LINEBACH

Jeanne Linebach, daughter of Grover and Cordelia Mohler, was born December 21, 1925 and went home to be with the Lord on December 18, 2003 at the age of 77 at Mercy Hospice in Johnston.  Funeral services will be 9 a.m. Tuesday, December 23, 2003 at Highland Park Presbyterian Church.  Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Jeanne grew up and attended school in Bedford, IA.  A couple of her claims to fame are going roller skating with Johnny Carson as well as a friendship with Pat Brady of the Roy Rogers Television show.

Jeanne moved to Des Moines and spent most of her life in the Highland Park area of Des Moines where she was known and loved by many.  She worked at Helen and Pat''s Restaurant for over 15 years and also at Chuck''s Restaurant for over 11 years.  After retirement she resided in the Highland Park/Oak Park area for the remainder of her life.  Jeanne served as a Deacon and member of Highland Park Presbyterian Church.  Jeanne enjoyed cooking and baking and spending time with her family and friends.

Her husband, Ralph Oliver who died on June 8 1954, preceded her in death.  Of this union, two daughters were born and survive today.  Vicki Lee and Sherry Reyna both of West Des Moines.  Jeanne was also preceded in death by her late husband Edward, who passed away on December 19, 1986 and is suvived by four children, Twins, Edward Linebach III of Des Moines and his sister, Elaine Rough of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, and sons, Mark Linebach of Des Moines, and Brian Linebach of Ankeny.  Grandma Jeanne was blessed with 18 grandchildren.  Erma Wilson of Des Moines is the lone surviving sister. 

Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home.
