The Life of EDWARD HERLUF SORENSEN
After living a full and productive life, Edward Herluf Sorensen, is now home with the Lord. He died on Friday, December 26, after a long battle with Parkinson's disease. There will be a memorial service in the lunchroom of Valley View Village on Saturday, January 10 at 2 p.m.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Erhard and Esther Sorensen and his sister, Evelyn. He is survived by his wife, Jeane, daughters, Nancy and husband Denny Kerr, Carol and husband Dave Stewart, and son Bob and wife Cathy, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers Art and Connie.
Ed was a veteran of WWII. He owned and operated a restaurant supply compnay and served a number of years on the board of Dania Savings and Loan.
Visitation will be 2 to 4 pm Sunday, December 28 at Hamilton's Funeral Home. Memorial gifts to Valley View Village.
