The Life of RAYMOND HOWARD PLEW

Services for Raymond H. Plew, 64, of rural Ankeny, who died of a stroke Monday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center, will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home.  Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Mr. Plew was born in Chariton and lived in the Des Moines area most of his life.  He was a retired sheet metal worker for Corn States Metal and was a member of Boline-Manfredi VFW Post 9662 in Ankeny and Sheet Metal Workers Local 45.

Survivors include a son, Jim of Des Moines; three brothers, Glenn of Sunrise Beach, Mo., Lee of Des Moines and Harold of Rock Springs, Wyo.; and three grandchildren.

Friends may call after 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, where a rosary will be recited at 5 p.m. Thursday.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude''s Children''s Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.
