The Life of HELEN C SULLENBERGER HARMAN

Helen Sullenberger Harman, 71, of 1840 Capitol Ave. died of a respiratory ailment Tuesday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center.  Services will be at 9 a.m. Friday at Hamilton's Funeral Home.  Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Mrs. Harman was born in Lone Fountain, VA, and had lived in Des Moines since 1955, coming from Ftaunton, VA.  She retired from Iowa Vocational Rehabilition Center.

Surviving are three sons, Max Sullenberger, Dice Sullenberger and Tracy Sullenberger, all of Des Moines; two stepsons, Jerry of Staunton and Ernie of Burlington, NC; a stepdaughter, Sharon Trogaugh of Middletown, NJ; two sisters, Nancy Wade of Staunton and Alberta Holt of Norwalk; three brothers, Nelson Crosby of Newport News, VA, Edward Jones of Clearwater, FL, and George Clark of Mesa, AZ; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Friends may call after 1 p.m. today at the funeral home.
