The Life of HELEN MARGARET MEAD
Helen Mead, 99, of Dallas Center, IA; formerly of Knoxville, passed away Monday morning at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, November 13, 2010, at the First Christian Church with Reverend Kirk Dudley officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens in Des Moines, IA. Williams Funeral Home in Knoxville is in charge of the arrangements. Online condolences may be made to www.williamsfhknoxville.com.
She is survived by four children: Marilyn Heater and husband Bob of Rippey, IA; Larry Mead and wife Rachel of LaVerne, CA; Richard Mead of West Des Moines, IA; and Harold Mead of West Des Moines, IA; four grandchildren: Teresa Bebb and husband Robert, Michael Mead and wife Mary, Patrick Mead and wife Melissa, and Michelle Wilkening and husband Steve, eleven great-grandchildren, four step-great-grandchildren, and several step-great-great-grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews.
Helen was preceded in death by parents, husband Roger, infant son Kenneth, daughter Donna Mead, great-granddaughter Amber Ann Bebb, sister Ila Weston and brother Harold Weston.
