The Life of GARY DUANE EVANS
Services for Gary D. Evans, 24, of 3816 Lay St., who died Friday on the MacVicar Freeway of injuries sustained in an auto accident, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Grandview Funeral Home. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Evans was born in Des Moines and lived here all his life. He worked as a pressroom employee at Meredith Corp.
Survivors include his wife, Dixie; a brother, Michael E.; two sisters, Karla S. Evans and Karen L. Earlywine; his parents, Mr. & Mrs. Larry E. Evans; paternal grandmother, Iris Evans; maternal grandfather, Lowell E. John; and paternal great-grandmother, Alta Linkey. All are from Des Moines.
Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. today and Monday at the funeral home.
