The Life of ARLANDER W GOODWIN
Services for Arlander W. Goodwin, 80, of Grimes, who died of a heart attack Friday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital, were held Monday morning at Gospel Assembly Church. Burial was in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Born in Calloway County, KY, Mr. Goodwin lived in Evanston, IN, before moving to the Des Moines area 8 1/2 years ago. A retired real estate broker, he was a member of Gospel Assembly Church.
Survivors incldue his wife, Mathilde; three sons, Rev. Lloyd Goodwin and Nathan, both of Des Moines, and Vernon G. of Grimes; a daughter, Audrey of Grimes; two brothers, Everett and Robert, both of Paducah, KY; two sisters, Mae Lyles of Paducah and Maude Hood of Evanston, IN; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
