The Life of DONALD DANIEL ROTH

Donald D. Roth, 69, of the Mitchellville Care Center of Mitchellville, died of pneumonia Saturday at home.  Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Mr. Roth was born in Des Moines and had lived most of his life in Des Moines and Altoona.  He was a retired meat cutter and owner of Roth Grocery in Des Moines.

Survivors included his wife, Josephine; three daughters, Donna Schott of Plano, Texas, and Paulette Franklin and Deborah Roth, both of Altoona; a son, Barry of Bondurant; four sisters, Delores Utterson of Des Moines, Florene Rock of Denver, Colo., Allene Pierce of Boulder, Colo., and Mary Heston of Wisconsin; nine grandchildren; and give great-grandchildren.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Don Roth Memorial Fund.
