The Life of MARIE E HENDERSON DENTON
Marie E. Nelson Henderson Denton, 85, died at home Monday, June 18,2007. Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, June 22, 2007 at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Marie was born March 28, 1922 in Truro, IA. She enjoyed word search and jigsaw puzzles and socializing with her friends and neighbors.
Marie is survived by her children, Cecil (Jean) Henderson of Montezuma, IA, Carolyn Plumb of Des Moines, Betty Powell of Creston, IA, Chuck Henderson, Laura VanGundy and Esther J. (Frank) Halterman, all of Des Moines; 13 granddaughters; 25 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Dale Henderson; husband, Carl A. Denton; and granddaughter, Laura.
Memorial contributions may be given to the donor''s choice in memory of Marie.
