The Life of SHARON HAROLD WATSON
Services for Sharon "Butch" Watson, 56, of 2030 Courtland Drive, who died of a heart ailment and stroke Monday at his home, will be a 3 pm Thursday at Hamilton's Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens.
Mr. Watson was born in Kansas City, Mo., and lived in Leavenworth before moving to Des Moines 37 years ago. He was a retired tuber for Firestone Tire and Rubber Co, and a member of United Rubber Workers Local 310.
Survivors include his wife, Clara; two sons, Roger A Watson and Martin M Watson, both of Des Moines; a daughter, Mrs. Sharon Rugger of Des Moines; his mother, Mrs. Mary Etta Watson of Des Moines; two brothers, Martin L Watson of Des Moines and Jesse K Watson of Santa Clara, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Juanita Woodyard of Mingo and Mrs. Joanne Snyder of Des Moines and three grandchildren.
