The Life of MAURICE WILLIAM ADAMS
Maurice William Adams, 66, of 4725 NW 48th St. died of cancer Sunday at Hospice Kavanagh House in Des Moines. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Adams was born in Polk City and lived in Des Moines since 1973. He was a retired tire builder with Firestone Tire and Rubber Co. and a member of United Rubber Workers Local.
Survivors include his wife, Loretta; two daughters, Pam Morningstar-Bengford and Georgia Carey, both of Des Moines; two sisters, Mary Mae Stensland of Tamarac, FL, and Ruth Snyder of Huxey; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
The family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Kavanagh House.
