The Life of FRITZ PAUL BENGTSON
Services for Fritz P. Bengtson, 77, of 1724 Searle St., who died of uremia Wedensday at Iowa Methodist Hospital after a three-week illness, will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the Dahlstrom Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemtery.
Pallbearers will be Lawrence Elliott, Alvin Thoren, Elmer Thoren, John Daniels, Wayne Allen and Bob Daniels, Sr.
A native of Sweden, Mr. Bengtson lived in Des Moines 55 years and was a sheet metal worker at Owen Crist Auto Body Service before he retired 12 years ago.
He was a member of First Lutheran Church and the Scandinavian Fraternity of America.
Surviving are his widow, Kristine; two sons, Edward C. of Des Moines and Bernard M of Fayettevill, NC; a daughter, Mrs. Frances Kienast of Des Moines; a sister, Mrs. Elido Frantzen of New York City, and six grandchildren.
