The Life of RUBY P SHOOTS HARDESTY
Ruby P. Hardesty, 93, of Luther Park Hearlth Care Center, 1555 Hull Ave., died of a heart ailment Sunday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Westover Funeral Home, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Hardesty was born in Milo and had lived in Des Moines 60 years. She retired after being a clerk at Younkers and a saleswoman for Avon, and was a member of Windsor United Methodist Church and the Women''s International Bowling Congress.
Survivors include a daughter, Betty Kaldenberg of Des Moines; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. today at the funeral home, where the family will be present from 6 to 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to her church.
