The Life of WILLIAM LESLIE CARAWAY

Services for William Leslie Caraway, 58, of 2407 Forty-Fourth St., who died of cancer Tuesday at his home, will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Westover Funeral Home.  Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Mr. Caraway, a native of Indianola, lived in Des Moines 32 years and was a retired X-ray technician at Veterans Hospital.  He was a member of Westminister United Presbyterian Church, American Federation of Government Employees No. 1228, American Legion Post 374 and the National Association of Retired Federal Employees Chapter 148.

Survivors include his wife, Madeline P.; two sons, William L. and Laird E., both of Des Moines; four sister, Annabelle Sandy of Winterset, Opal Ashbaugh, living in Canada, Della Farley of Madrid and Esta Oxenreider of Indianola; and three grandchildren.

The family suggests that any memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 1 p.m. today.
