The Life of JANICE LOUISE KRANTZ
Janice Louise Krantz, 51, of 6209 NW 59th Ct., Johnston, died of cancer Wednesday at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Highland Park Presbyterian Church, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Miss Krantz was born in Des Moines and lived in New York City for many years, moving to Johnston three months ago. She had been director of social work for the State University of New York and a member of the National Society of Social Workers.
Survivors include her mother, Kathryn Krantz of Johnston; two brothers, Steven of Urbandale and James of Pleasant Hill; and a sister, Susan of Harrison, NY.
The family will greet friends from 3 to 6 p.m. today at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Highland Park Presbyterian Church or Hospice of Central Iowa.
