The Life of RITA JOANN PERKOVICH
Rita Perkovich, 57, of the 3000 block of Indianapolis Avenue died of a heart ailment Friday at Mercy Medical Center. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Grace Church, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Ms. Perkovich had lived in Des Moines all her life. She was a retired data entry worker with KVI Insurance Co. and enjoyed flowers and gardening.
She is survived by a son, Jim of Brainerd, MN; a sister, Mary Fry of Des Moines; three borthers, Mike of Iowa City, George or Ontario, CA, and Bernard of Los Angeles; and five grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Hamilton''s Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
