The Life of JOY E KNIGHT
Joy E. Knight, 24 of the 3800 block of Oxford Street died of complications of meningococcemia Saturday at Mercy Medical Center. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Visitation Catholic Church, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Miss Knight had lived in Des Moines all her life. She had graduated recently with a bachelor''s degree in criminal justice from Grand View College
Surviving are her mother, Nancy Knight, and four brothers, Joel Knight, Josh Knight, Jesse Barnes and Jordan Barnes, and her grandmother, Patricia Erickson, all of Des Moines; and a sister, Jill Knight of Denison.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Hamilton''s near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home, where a prayer service will begin at 7 p.m.
