The Life of DELLA MARIE WHEELER PEARSON
Della M Wheeler-Pearson, 92, of Sunnyview Care Center, 410 NW Ash Drive, Ankeny, died of Alzheimer's disease there Jan. 26. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Hamilton's Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home. Bural of the cremains were at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Wheeler-Pearson, born in Knigley, Ky., moved to Des Moines in 1945 and had resided at the Care Center three years. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by five daughters, Maurine Miller, Freida Clark and Wanda Behanish, all of Des Moines; Linda Williams of Panora and Judy Morris of Pleasanton, Calif.; a son, A.C. "Jack" Wheeler of Des Moines; two step-daughters, Nancy Appling of Minneapolis and Sallie Conzet of Oklahoma City; 28 grandchildren; 57 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
