The Life of ROY F DEETS
Services for Roy F. Deets, 68, of 3211 SW Seventh St., will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Deets died of cancer Wednesday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital. He had been ill for six months.
A lifelong resident of Des Moines, Mr. Deets was a retired bus driver.
Survivors include his wife, LaVonne; a son, David E. of Des Moines; two daugthers, Mrs. Marlene Gale and Mrs. Dixie Martelli, both of Des Moines; a brother, Basil of Des Moines; two sisters, Lucille Howard and Gladys Hornbach, both of Des Moines; nine grandchildren and two great-granchildren.
