The Life of ETHEL M TERRELL
Ethel M. Terrell, 95, passed away June 27 in Providence, RI. She was the beloved wife of the late L. Vaughn Terrell. Born in Coin, Iowa she was the daughter of the late Stella and Charles Wood Webb. Ethel lived most of her life in Des Moines and served as director of Christian Education for several Methodist churches, as a camp camp director for the YWCA in Indianola and provided day care in her home. She received her degree from Drake University, remained a member of Tri T and the W.C.T.U. and belonged to St. John''s Methodist Church. She enjoyed traveling to Israel, attending Cameral Club, baking, gardening and reading. Her kindness, joy and faith were evident to all. Ethel is survived by two daughters, Leslie Nolting of Seattle, WA, and Virginia Terrien of Riverside, RI, eight grandchildren, ten great- grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her three children Rosalee Bowles of Portland, OR, Phil Terrell and Terry Terrell of Des Moines, IA also her her brothers Glen Webb of Downey, CA and Merlin Webb of Pensacola, FL and her sister Leah Perrigo of Chicago, IL. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday at the Hamilton near Highland Memory Garden at 12 p.m. with calling hours from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Burial will be in Highland Memory Garden Cemetery.
