The Life of BILLY G MILLER
Bill Miller, 79, passed away Monday, February 26, 2007. A memorial gathering will be held on Wednesday, February 28, 2007 at Iles Funeral Home- Westover Chapel, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. Memorial services will be held 1 pm Thursday, March 1, 2007 at Iles Funeral Home- Westover Chapel.
Bill Miller was born June 21, 1927, son of Orlie and Stella Miller. Bill graduated from Redfield High School and Iowa State University, and was employed for over 35 years at Iowa Power and Light. Bill was an avid golfer, bridge player, and loved to attend dances at Lake Robbins. Bill was a member of Mt. Olive Lutheran Church.
Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Joan; parents and brother, Robert Miller.
Bill is survived by his children, Sally (Dennis) Link of Des Moines, and Bryan Huntsman of Des Moines; brother, Jay (Ann) Miller of Monterey, CA; Grandchildren, Josef (Amy) Link of Cedar Rapids, Erik (Jill) Link of Des Moines, Samantha Huntsman of Des Moines and Tyler Huntsman of Des Moines; Great Grandchildren, Trenton and Avery Link of Cedar Rapids.
Memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Olive Lutheran Church or Hospice Kavanagh House on 56th .
