The Life of CHERYL HUDSON
Cheryl C. Hudson (Norman) passed away November 6, 2010, at Taylor House Hospice. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 10, 2010, at 12:00 p.m. at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue, Des Moines, Iowa. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 9, 2010, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Cheryl was born on October 8, 1947, in Des Moines, Iowa to Kenneth and Nina Norman. She graduated from East High in 1966. Cheryl lived most of her life in Des Moines, but spent some time in Duluth, Minnesota, where she graduated from St. Scholastica with a degree in Education.
She is survived by her husband, Jim Hudson; children and step-children, Happy Carter, Troy McIntosh, Daniel McIntosh, Brad Hudson, and Jeff Hudson; sister, Cindy Boatwright; and 14 grandchildren. Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Anne’s Episcopal Church in Ankeny, Iowa or to the Animal Rescue League.
