The Life of JOHN WILLIAM MCCORMACK
John William McCormack, 91, died in Bradenton, FL on July 25,2009. He was born in Des Moines on September 7, 1917.
John is survived by his wife, Josephine of 68 years and two daughters, Jody and husband, Derald Dunning, Jr. and Susan McCormack and husband, Michael Warren. He also is survived by nephew, Larry Hockersmith and his family.
John served in WWII in the US Army in Europe where he was MIA and POW. He worked in the dairy industry for 30 years in the Des Moines area.
John was a member of East Gate Masonic Lodge, York Rite, and Za-Ga-Zig Shrine Temple.
Memorial services are August 5, 2009 at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery at 1 p.m.
