Larry was born in August 9, 1942 to Norbert & Mary Allen in Des Moines, Iowa. He worked as a field supervisor in the area of construction.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on September 28, 2007 at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Larry is survived by his mother, Mary Schlaht of Des Moines; his daughter, Mary Brewer of Elkland, MO; one sister, Carolyn Hughes of Chandler, AZ; and two brothers, Ronald of Rockford, IL and Donald of Des Moines.

This was my father I never seen him much after 1974 but I remember the bike he bought me before I left when I was 7 and I got to see him for the last time when o read 28 at my grandparents 50th anniversary I missed out on a lifetime of memories but he was my father and I love him. ??
