The Life of JULIA KIRTS
JULIA E. KIRTS 90 passed away December 6, 2008 at the Mayflower Homes in Grinnell, Iowa. Funeral services will be held at Iles Grandview Park Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at 2 pm. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 PM followed by funeral services and burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens.
Julia was born on February 3, 1918, to John and Chesera Belluchi in Des Moines, Iowa. She graduated from East High School. Julia met and married Donald F. Kirts. Together they raised their two children, Diane and Jim. After 18 years of being a homemaker, Julia worked at Norwoodville School for 25 years.
Julia is survived by her husband, Don, of 70 years, her 2 children and their families, Diane and Victor Wilson of Grinnell, Iowa and Jim and Karen Kirts of Tucson, AZ; her 6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and her sister Alice Susic.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Mary Wilson and a brother, Joseph Belluchi.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Mayflower Homes or Grinnell Regional Medical Center, Grinnell, Iowa.
