The Life of LENA JENNINGS
Lena Jennings, 98 died Tuesday, January 1, 2008 at Luther Park in Des Moines. Lena was born September 14, 1909 to Tunis and Elsie DeWinter in Delta, IA.
Lena enjoyed crafting, cooking, teaching Sunday school and visiting in her home with friends.
Lena is survived by her son Jerry (Sheila) Jennings; sister, Letha Quandrone; grandsons, Jeff (Julie) Jennings; Greg Jennings; Tim Jennings; great-grandson, Jake Jennings and various nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ralph; brother, Johnny and sister, Lucille.
Graveside services will be 12 p.m. Friday, January 4, 2008 at Highland Memory Gardens. Family will visit with friends from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Friday, January 4, 2008 at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave.
