The Life of MARY ANN GARY
Mary Ann Gary, 67, of 3821 Eighth Place died of a respiratory ailment Tuesday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at All Saints Parish of which she was a member. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Born in Lacona, Mrs. Gary had lived in Des Moines since 1950 and was a retired library clerk with Pioneer.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas M.; a son, Thomas A. of Des Moines; three daughters, Laura Gary of Johnston, Glory Gary of Des Moines, and Elaine Gary of Chicago; two brothers, Carl Dittmer of Sandyville and Don Dittmer of Williamsburg; and three sisters, Hilda Schaffer of Weldon, Norma Gotta of Romeo, MI; and June Rouse of Indianola.
The family will greet friends from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home, where a rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to her church.
