The Life of ELIZABETH MARY HATHAWAY
Elizabeth Mary Hathaway, 83, died Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at her home in Madrid. She was born on October 20, 1926 to J.J. and Ella Harvey in Lake George, MN.
She enjoyed riding motorcycles, snow mobiles and traveling in the RV. Elizabeth especially loved spending time with her great-grandchildren.
Elizabeth is survived by her step-son, Harold (Lorraine); grandsons, Marty (Laurie) and Robert (Marlene); great-grandchildren, Harold Glenn, Jimmy and Nicole; sisters, Darlene Keubler and Lilly Smith; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold; seven brothers; three sisters.
Graveside Services will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery, 1 NE 60th Ave. Friends may visit with family from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, May 2, 2010 at Hamilton's near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave., Des Moines.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Homeward Hospice, 400 South Dakota Ave, Ames, Iowa 50014 in loving memory of Elizabeth.
