The Life of JAMES G WILSON

James G. Wilson, 86, of Norwalk died on Friday, July 27, 2007 at Iowa Lutheran Hospital. Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home with burial following at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

James was born on March, 15, 1921 in Avoca, Iowa, the son of James and June Wilson. He worked at Little Giant Crane and Shovel as a welder for about 30 years. He also served in the U.S. Army participating in WW II in the South Pacific.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years Minnie Bernice Wilson of Norwalk, his brother Richard Wilson of Thorton, Colorado, his sister Mary Hardage of Holdenville, Oklahoma, his 4 granddaughters, his 7 great grandchildren, his 1 great, great grandson as well as his beloved dog Ginger.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, his son Michael C. Wilson, his step-son William R. Neeley, his two brothers and four sisters. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Cumming Community Church.
