Delbert (J.R.) Rattray, 59, passed away Monday, August 10, 2009 at Mercy Hospice in Johnston. No services are planned.

Delbert was born July 20, 1950 in Des Moines where he lived most of his life. He was a truck driver for many years.

Delbert is survived by his wife of over 40 years, Sharon; 18 brothers and sisters; three children; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

McLaren''s Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
