The Life of LUCILLE EDNA PETERSON
Lucille Edna Peterson, 96, died on Friday, February 11, 2011, at the Rehabilitation Center of Des Moines.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday, February 18, 2011, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, with burial following at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. There will be a visitation for two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
Lucille was born February 7, 1915, in Polk City, Iowa to Louise (Byram) and Leroy Nagle. She lived all of her life in Des Moines with the exception of five years spent in Seattle, Washington. She married Bernard Peterson and took pride in being a homemaker. She was a member of the Eastside Church of the Nazarene.
Lucille is survived by her son, Richard Peterson, her grandson, Richard Peterson, Jr., and granddaugher, Holly Peterson, plus five great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Bernard, and her parents Leroy and Louise Nagle.
