The Life of WILLIAM DAVID PRIMROSE Jr.
Pastor Bill Primrose Jr. went home to be with his Lord and Savior, surrounded by family and friends on September 6, 2010 at the Taylor Hospice House in Des Moines, Iowa.
He was born to William and Irma Primrose on September 23, 1940 in Vinton, Iowa.
He is survived by his second wife of 15 years, Rosalie Primrose; his 6 children, Dave (Pam) Primrose, Dan (Ruth) Primrose, Debbie Primrose, Jennifer (Greg) Lemon, Cindy (Merv) Alcorn, James (Amy) Lofflin; sister, Marilyn (Dave) Bickle and brother-in-law, Ray Sullivan; 16 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Bill was a church planter and a soul winner.
He was preceded in death by his father, William; mother, Irma; brother, Bob; sister, Judy and by his first wife of 33 years, Patsy (Price) Primrose.
The visitation will be held at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street, from 5 to 8 pm Thursday, with the funeral service beginning at 10 am Friday at the funeral home. Pastor Bill will be laid to rest at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery, with a luncheon to follow at Trinity Baptist Church, 4600 SW 28th Street, Des Moines.
