The Life of RICHARD FRANCIS BRANTS
Richard Brants, 75, passed away August 2, 2010 at Evangelical Free Church Home in Boone, IA.
Richard was born March 14, 1935 in Kansas City, MO to Francis and Frances Brants. He graduated from John Brown University in Siloam Springs, AR and was a warehouse employee with Mid-State Distributing for 36 years before his retirement in 2000. Richard was a faithful servant to the Lord and was a member of Calvary Grace Tabernacle.
Richard is survived by his wife, Hazle; children, Robert Brants, Carol Cole and Erick Brants; grandchildren, Dale, Andrea, Jenny, Jack and Bryan; and great-grandchildren, Kane, Ethan and Evan. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Charles.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, August 5, 2010 at Calvary Grace Tabernacle, 715 SE 14th Court, followed by burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street.
