Janet E. Rogers, (Nee Carter) born in Davenport, IA to Frank and Geraldine (Nee Williams) Carter. Passed away October 10, 2008 at the age of 77.
Beloved wife of the late Billy V. Proud mother of Cynthia (Steven) Schmitz, Robert, Richard (Mary) and Randall (Eve). Loving grandmother of Michael, Timothy, Nicholas and Samuel Schmitz; Carrie, Moira, Michaela, Keegan, Brendan, Evan, Taryn, Calleigh, Aine and Aidan Rogers; and Alexander and Sophia Rogers. Also survived and loved by her sister, Helen Jones and her brother, Gerald (Patricia). Many nieces, nephews and friends also survive her. Preceded in death by her parents, her sister Patricia Harvey, her brother Robert and niece Jayna.
Janet was a retired executive assistant for EZ Paintr Corp. She ws loved by her many friends, neighbors and co-workers.
The family wishes to thank the outstanding nurses and Drs. at St. Luke''s Hospital CICU for the attentive, compassionate care Janet received during the last days of her life.
Visitation on Monday, October 13, 2008 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Max A. Sass and Sons Greenridge Chapel, 4747 South 60th Street, Greenfield, WI. Interment services at Highland Memory Gardens in Des Moines, IA on Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at 1 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Heart Association appreciated.
