The Life of ADELE MARY MAROON
Adele Maroon, died Thursday, November 12, 2009, at Sunny View Care Center in Ankeny, Iowa. Adele was born to Frank and Mary (Kouri) Jesser. She loved reading, cooking, gardening and most of all her family.
Adele is survived by one son, David (Mary) of Overland Park, Kansas; one daughter, Nancy (John) Weiser of Ankeny, Iowa; three grandchildren, Mark of Fairfax, Virginia, Mike of Overland Park, Kansas, Teresa of Omaha, Nebraska; one great-granddaughter, McKenna Maroon of Overland Park, Kansas; one sister, Beulah Leavell of Des Moines, Iowa; and one brother, Joseph Jesser of Des Moines, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Maroon; son, Donald Maroon; and four brothers and sisters.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, November 16, 2009, at All Saints Catholic Church, 650 NE 52nd Avenue, Des Moines. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. A visitation with the family present will be from 8:30-10:00 a.m. Monday at the church.
