The Life of JOHNDE WOODROW BREWER
Johnde Woodrow Brewer, 93, passed away April 1, 2011, at Taylor House Hospice. He was born May 24, 1917, in Waukee, Iowa. He proudly served in the U.S. Marines during World War II and the Korean War. Johnde worked as a floor mechanic until his retirement. Along with being a movie buff, he greatly enjoyed woodworking and meeting friends daily for coffee at the local Hy-Vee.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris. Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Mike (Sally) Brewer; step-daughters, Diane Schroeder and Janet (Tom) Snyder; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and his companion, Lillian Ori, and her family.
A graveside service will be 12:30 PM, Saturday, April 2, 2011, at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
