The Life of DOUGLAS DORAN GREGG
Douglas Gregg, 61, died Saturday, December 5, 2009, at Iowa Lutheran Hospital. Doug, a lifelong Des Moines resident, lived the past 22 years in the Mosaic Group Home and was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church.
Doug was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Florence Gregg. He is survived by his brothers, Dave (Cindy) Gregg and John (Stephonie) Gregg; sister, Cindy (Dan) McCleary; ten nieces and nephews and five great-nieces and nephews. Also left to cherish Doug’s memory will be his housemates and staff of Mosaic.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, December 8, 2009, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue, and 10-11 a.m. Thursday at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 2600 E. Euclid Avenue. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Mosaic in loving memory of Doug.
