The Life of HELEN BERNEIL KING
Helen Berneil (Kubli) King aged 98, of Grand Rapids, MI and formerly of Des Moines, Iowa passed away Thursday, March 17, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband Herbert King, granddaughter Teresa King, 2 great-grandchildren and her 3 brothers. Helen will be lovingly remembered by her children; Betty (Jim) Buick, Marvin (Margaret) King, grandchildren; Greg Buick, Bob Buick, Karen King, Julaine Swithers, Jack King, 13 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. She spent a majority of her professional career working in the food service field in the Des Moines School District. Helen was very active in the Free Methodist Church. Helen was a great homemaker, who loved to garden, can foods and sew for her family. A funeral service will be held 11:30 AM Monday, March 21, 2011 at the Reyers North Valley Chapel 2815 Fuller Ave NE. Visitation will be from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM. Interment will be at Highland Memory Gardens in Des Moines, Iowa. Memorials can be made to the Residence Assistances Fund at Holland Home 2100 Raybrook SE Suite 300 Grand Rapids, MI 49546.
