The Life of ROBERT LAVERN MORROW
Robert (Bob) L. Morrow, 80, was born July 26, 1929 to Oscar and Bertha Morrow in Murry, IA. He passed away May 12, 2010. He was a Navy Veteran in the Korean War. He worked for the city of Des Moines, Parks Department, as an equipment operator for 35 years, retiring in 1991.
He leaves behind his wife of 54 years, Nancy A. Morrow; three sons, John (Tammy) Morrow, Steve Morrow, and Tom (Martha) Morrow; four granddaughters, and one great-granddaughter.
Bob loved camping, fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family. He will be missed.
Gravesideservices will be 11 a.m., Friday, May 14, 2010, at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery, 1 NE 60th Ave, Des Moines. Friends may visit with family from 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, May 13, 2010, at Hamilton's near Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery, 121 NW 60th Ave., Des Moines.
